check out these beautiful yarns i recently found while out yarn hunting. they both will be used for gorgeous handbags. i should be starting them soon, and i'm so excited!!!
... so, so many ideas...
here they are up close. the brown has beautiful gold flecks in it. while the black and gray has eyelash fringe!!! i can hardly wait to see how this yarn makes up.
fun! fun!

knotty adventures at TWNY
i can't believe i'm just now typing this... but about 3 saturdays ago, my mom and i ventured to our favorite yarn shop's new location ~ about a block closer to home than they were :)
we perused what seemed to be every shelf, cubby, and bin, and then some, before we finally made our choices and left there an hour and a half after arriving.
i bought these two wonderful, scrumptious beauties... and my mom bought some incredible chunky baby alpaca blend (check out my etsy shop for the tweed scarf she made with it).
the yarn in the background is 100% wool and great for felting. and i just couldn't resist what the ladies at TWNY's (thewholenineyarns.com) call crack... rowan's kidsilk haze! wonderful stuff and so fun to work with. it's 70% super kid mohair and 30% silk. now what could be better, i ask you?!?!
i will soon put up my first project i have made from these skeins. it's so fun! and adorable! but... it's coming soon...
